Who really enjoys shopping? Well, I do and I enjoy taking mom. Sometimes it can be hard when you are in a time crunch. When we go to the store we take our time going up and down the aisles. I look for good deals for mom and she tells me the types of foods she is wanting. Another thing that always surprises me is the fact that mom doesn’t know about some of the new items. But then how could she know that they now have tuna fish in pouches that have flavors added. Sometimes having a blind parent makes me realize that being able to walk the shelves at the store and seeing the new items isn’t something everyone can do.

When we get home from shopping Mom usually puts everything away herself. Now when she was living in her own home she would need to label cans and boxes. Mom made some brialle labels using brialle paper and would tape those labels on the cans and boxes. But how would she know what each can is? Where that is where the following items come in handy. There are a few apps that can help with this job and there are a few products that you can use as well. So many options. The following list does not include all products and apps.
